Jeane Krieger

Jeane Krieger passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16th, at Brook Hollow Christian Church with Rev. Penny Biddy and Jim Bob Solsbery officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Jeane was born in Dallas, Texas to Edd and Grace Robinson, October 30, 1921. She attended and graduated from Abilene High School and McMurry University. Jeane met Ralph Krieger while he was stationed at Camp Barkeley, and they married in 1942. She taught school in Abilene for several years. She loved and was passionately involved in Women’s Bible Study Fellowship for many happy years. Jeane served as a deacon and an elder at Brook Hollow Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ralph, daughter-in-law Chris Krieger and son-in-law Cuppy Graham. She is survived by her children; Eddie and Rita Krieger, Betty Anne Graham, and Ted and Kathy Krieger. Grandchildren Chuck Krieger, Eric and Trisha Chase, Kyle and Stacy Doby, Russell and Jeanie Graham, Jason and Ashleigh Marshall, Jason and Mallory Krieger, Kerry and Ashleigh Goff and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be given in Jeane’s honor to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory St., Abilene, TX 79601 and Brook Hollow Christian Church, 2310 South Willis St., Abilene, TX 79605.
