Jazmin Ocampo unexpectedly passed away on January 18, 2016 at the young age of 20 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene TX.
Jazmin was born on April 2, 1995 in Riverside CA. to mother Erika and father Jaime and later raised by Erika and stepfather Shawn Waybright. She attended Madison Elementary, CA, and Pasture Middle Junior High CA. Her family relocated to Abilene, TX in 2010, where she attended Premier High School and later graduated in 2014. She began working as a waitress for El Fenix Café and later worked at Teleperformance Group as a Customer Service Advisor.
Jazmin will live in the hearts of those she is survived by: her parents Erika and Shawn Waybright; Brothers Devin and Aiden Waybright of Abilene TX, and Andrew Ocampo of Riverside CA; Grandmothers Alicia Orduña of Abilene TX., and Jan Waybright of Sacramento, CA; Grandpa Don Waybright of Sacramento, CA.; Great grandmother Josephine Perry of Sacramento, CA.; Aunt Michele Waybright from Sacramento, CA.; Uncles and Aunts Jorge and wife Gelsy Alvarado of Yuma AZ, Jesse and wife Brenda Alvarado of Corona CA, Irving and wife Nancy Alvarado of Victorville CA, and cousins Jaylin, Nathanael, George, Jassell and Viviana Alvarado, Nykko Waybright; boyfriend Michael Martinez; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Jazmin was preceded in death by her Grandfather Jorge M. Alvarado and Great grandmother Juana Gamino Orduna.
Jazmin will forever be in our hearts and minds. Her joyous personality and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by friends and loved ones.
A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday January 24, 2016 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 25, 2016 with Bishop Mack Moye officiating at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, TX 79606.
