Janice Glover Kelley, 66, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018.
The daughter of Faye (Whitley) and Roger F. Glover, Janice was born on November 13, 1951 in Abilene. She graduated from Wylie High School in 1970.
Janice married her high school sweetheart Ricky Kelley on August 22, 1970. Most of her work career was spent doing secretarial work in various medical facilities. The last 18 years were at Abilene Regional Medical Center before retiring in 2005 to be a full-time Nana.
Janice was preceded in death by her father Fritz Glover, and a niece Karen Bowden.
She is survived by her husband Rick of the home; a daughter Lori Brothers
and son Andy Kelley, both of Abilene; and her grandkids who were her pride and joy, and always made her smile, Chase Brothers of Lubbock and Kyla Kelley of Abilene. Janice is also survived by her mother Faye Glover, and two brothers, Kenneth (Gloria) Glover and Dean (Pam) Glover all of Abilene; and a sister Patty (Marty) Karr of Port Aransas.
Visitation will be Monday, February 19th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. The service will be Tuesday, February 20th at 10:00AM at Wylie Baptist Church with Rev. Darrin Ray and Rev. John Fanning officiating. Burial will follow at Iberis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Iberis Cemetery Fund or the donor's favorite charity.
