Jane M. Lohn, of Abilene, Texas, went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 20, 2016.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 27, at Lohn Family Cemetery in Lohn, Texas with Bardin Striegler officiating. Burial will be directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
Jane M. Lohn died at Coronado Nursing Center in Abilene, Texas. She was 91 years old. She was born October 23, 1924 to Eva Deatherage Massey and Dave B. Massey. Her husband Clarence P. Lohn, better known in the community as “C.P.”, preceded her in death.
She graduated from Abilene High School in 1941. Jane sold furniture in Abilene for many years. For thirty plus years she worked Civil Service at Dyess Air Force Base as a Computer Tech.
She will be remembered by family and friends as a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and friend to all. She had tremendous knowledge and wisdom of God, life, and the corporate world.
Jane was preceded in death by her best friend and husband, Clarence Lohn on March 14, 2012; a son, Marshall Clement on June 25, 2015; and sister, Dorothy M. Hughes on November 21, 2015. She is survived by one daughter- in- law, Lauren Clements of Midland, Texas; one sister, Inez Johnson of Abilene, Texas; one stepson, Victor Lohn and wife Jeannie of Purcell, Oklahoma; stepdaughter, Lyla Bivens and husband Barry of Brady; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Coronado Nursing Center for all their love and care. Also, a special thank you is extended to Abilene Regional Wound Care for all their care, concern and compassion.
