Jane Wyatt Jones

Jane Wyatt Jones, 85, of Abilene died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Dallas. Born in Rochester, Texas on September 9, 1925, Jane was the daughter of Robert Lee Wyatt and Beatrice Hinton Wyatt. She attended college in Abilene and married Raymond Jones in Sweetwater, Texas in 1949. Mrs. Jones worked as bookkeeper with Raymond in their businesses, Texas Auto Parts and National Transmission. She attended View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Fern Barnsley on September 1, 2010. Jane is survived by her husband, Raymond Jones of Abilene, and one son, Ben Jones of Dallas. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, March 26, at View Baptist Church in View, Texas with Rev. Dale Morrison officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.
