Jamie Don Marek-Horner “Luke’s Pretty Princess” Jamie Marek-Horner, 36 of Abilene, Texas received her angel wings on October 21, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00pm – 8:00pm October 24, 2015 at the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, October 25 at Fountaingate Fellowship Church at N. 10th & Willis, Abilene, TX with Scott Beard officiating. Burial will follow at the Estes Family Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hamil Family Funeral Home. Jamie was born in Abilene, Texas to Johnny V. Marek & Debora Holcomb Marek on March 16, 1979. Jamie graduated from Cooper High School in 1997 and from Hardin Simmons University in 2006 with her BBA. Jamie worked for Abilene Sales Inc. in accounting for 9 years. Jamie is the co-founder of Spoiled Brats Recycle Center and Charlee-Madison Company. Jamie married Luke Horner on November 15, 2009 in Cozumel, Mexico. Jamie is survived by her loving husband and best friend Luke Horner, along with three beautiful and loving children, daughters Bella Cope and Charlee Horner, and son Kingston Horner. Jamie was an amazing granddaughter, daughter, wife, mother, cousin, and a friend to all. Jamie loved her family and friends, and enjoyed life to its fullest extent. Parents Johnny & Debora Marek of Abilene, Texas, parental grandparents Charles (James) & Donnie Marek of Potosi, Texas, maternal grandparents Kenneth & Wanda Jean Holcomb of Clyde, Texas. The very special people in Jamie’s life are Christen Horner, Amy Tavera, Tiffany Hicks, Aimee Pass and Cindi Fischer. Jamie was preceded in death by her uncle Carl “Mule” Marek.
