James Joseph Sodeman

Jim Sodeman, 49, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Father Kumar Jujjuvarapu will officiate. Jim was born in Sacramento, California to Robert and Martha (Jenkins) Sodeman on April 2, 1966. He worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Abilene. Jim’s main focus in life was his children. His favorite hobbies included (R.C.) cars, fishing and motor sports, especially NASCAR. Jim was a member of the Catholic Church. Jim is survived by his parents, Robert and Martha Sodeman of Cabot, Arkansas; his son and daughter, Joseph William Sodeman and Sara Mae Sodeman both of Brunswick, Ohio; one brother, Peter Sodeman of Sacramento, California and one sister, Captain Jennifer Stark, USAF of Okinawa, Japan.
