Jack Gentry

Jack Gentry, 57, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2005. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 10:00 am at Elmwood Memorial Park with Dr. Tom Lyda officiating, under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. A memorial service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at The Abilene State School Chapel with Bill Spencer, Chaplain of The Abilene State School, officiating. Jack was born October 9, 1948, to parents Joe Collins Gentry and Mary Ellen Mann Gentry in Abilene, Texas. Jack has been a resident of The Abilene State School since 1977 where he worked at the workshop for many years. Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
