James Thomas Jack, Sr. (JT) of Albuquerque, NM passed away on April 15, 2021 in Abilene, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. May 15, 2021 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, Abilene, TX.
JT was born in Sulphur, OK to Tom and Dorothy Jack on August 3, 1939. He graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM and attended Oklahoma State University. JT returned to Albuquerque to work for Piggly Wiggly and worked in grocery management for over 50 years. He loved traveling with his wife Rajeane, going to Lobo Basketball games, and fishing with friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
JT was preceded in death by his half-sister Tommie Ann, parents and brother, Bruce Jack.
JT is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rajeane; three children, Kristy Waldraff (Rick), Kara Nixon (Steve), Jim Jack (Kim); sisters Barbara Myers, Janice Anderson; eight grandchildren: Brad Waldraff, Matthew Waldraff (Amanda), Michael Nixon (Micalea), CJ Nixon (Catarina) Alex Jack (Mary), Avery Hollabaugh (Aaron), Landen Jack, Sam Jack; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
