Ine Splain

Ine Splain, 95, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at the family home, 2325 Vicki Dr., on Thursday, December 28, 2023.

Ine was born in Toba, Japan to Kakuzo and Sato (Yamashita) Kakuda on January 29, 1928. She marred Richard William Splain on March 4, 1958, in Tokyo Japan. Ine worked for the Ethan Allen, Phillips Carriage House in Abilene for 25 years.

Ine is survived by her husband, Richard Splain of Abilene; two sons, Dennis Splain and wife Mhret Splain of Detroit, Michigan, Ronald Splain of Thailand; daughter, Sue Ann Splain Parks and husband Bruce of Helena, Montana; six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and extended family.
