Ica Mae Crow, 75, of Abilene, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church. Dr. Jeff Reid will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Ica Mae was born May 20, 1943 in Ballinger, Texas to Louie Carl Scales and Virginia Mae (Washam) Scales. She graduated from Abilene High School. Ica Mae married Wayne Crow in Abilene, Texas on August 4, 1962. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2009. Ica Mae was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne Crow, and two brothers, L.C. Scales and Joe Carl Scales.
Ica Mae is survived by three sons: Barry Wayne Crow and wife Paula of Abilene, Steven Michael Crow and wife Sonya of Lubbock, and Heath Jackson Crow and wife Heather of Abilene; nine grandchildren: Jessica Bryce Tucker, Lindsey Aleese McDaniel, Laura Leigh Rodriguez, Sarah Elizabeth Crow, Suzanne Alexandra Crow, Nathaniel Louis Crow, Nani Wayne Crow, Dalton Ramirez and Chloe Ramirez; three great-grandchildren: Jacob Wayne Tucker, Avery Lynn Rodriquez, Jemma Chae Tucker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Felty, Dave Osterhoudt, Kenny Osterhoudt, Philip Robinson, Bryan Sconce, and Jason Tucker.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staffs of Dr. Victor Hudman, Windcrest Nursing Center, Kindred Hospice, and The Hamil Family Funeral Home, as well as Ica Mae’s special friend, FiFi.
