Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Drummond Cemetery with Cody Cochran officiating. A celebration of Hayes will follow at 1:00 pm at Beltway South Church. Friends and Family are welcome at both services. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Hayes was born on September 25, 2012 to Marshall and Shelley Pinkston. What a perfect addition he made to this little family. He quickly grew to love the outdoors, farm equipment and his Mommy, just like his Daddy. That is what best friends do, they share the things that they love. In September of 2016, Hayes became a big brother. He took this role very seriously and loved Tatum Jane like only a Bubba could love his Sissy. Hayes’ spirit is inquisitive, loving and adventurous. Hayes was so excited to officially become a Wylie Bulldog, starting kindergarten this past August. We were able to experience him here for almost 6 years and for that, we are forever grateful.
Hayes was greeted in Heaven by his namesake, great-grandfather, Hollis Buchanan; grandfather, Henry Pinkston; great-grandmother, Wilma Jane Souther; and cousin, Joshua Pinkston.
Loving Hayes from Earth will be his parents, Marshall and Shelley, his sister Tatum; great-grandmother, Marcia Lee Buchanan; grandmother, Barbara Pinkston; grandparents, Rick and Raylene Daniels; aunts and uncles, Troy and Shelia Pinkston, Greg and Allison Pinkston, Sarah Haro and Jesse Haro; and many, many cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Hayes’ superheroes Jay West, Billy Stephenson, Scott Venable and Carl Beal.
Memorials may be given in lieu of flowers to your preferred children’s charity. Hayes’ family would like to express sincere appreciation to the Taylor County EMS and the staff at Abilene Regional emergency room.
