Hayden Smith

Hayden Cody Smith, 30, of Abilene, passed away on October 27th, 2024, in Abilene.

Visitation will be 5pm-7pm Friday November 1st, 2024, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home on Buffalo Gap Road

Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday November 2nd, 2024, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home on Buffalo Gap Road with the Joel Tobey of Denton Valley Baptist Church, officiating. A burial will follow at the Family Cemetery in Cross Plains, Tx. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Hayden was born in Abilene TX to Cody and Jennifer Smith on July 14th, 1994 He went to school at Eula and Clyde Schools. He graduated from Clyde High School and Tulsa Welding School. He worked as a self-employed welder for 12 years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hamilton, TX where he was saved.

Hayden was preceded in death by Great Grandparents: Hayden and Cleo White, Clyde and Irene Smith, Johnnie and Joan Hester, Ben and Lou Tuner, and James F Bishop. Stepfather: Duane Davis.

Hayden is survived by Caroline and Wesson Smith, children. The children's mother, Tiffany Medina; brother, Dylan Newman and wife Jessica; nephews, Stetson and Roper Newman; brother Kase Smith; sisters, Addison Smith and Logan Smith; parents; Cody and Jennifer Smith; grandparents, Charlie & Marsha Bishop, Bobby and Shirley Pettijohn, Junior and Debra Smith and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Laramy Richardson, Justin Blackburn, Ethan Kunkel, Will White, Marshall Metts, Ethan Stephenson, Rusty McCullough, Stetson Newman, and Roper Newman.

The family requests any memorials in honor of Hayden be made to Camp Able of Buffalo Gap or any charity you wish.
