Glenn David Hall

1952 — August 29, 2012

Glenn David Hall Glenn David Hall of Abilene, Texas was born February 5th, 1952 in Winters, Texas to surviving parents Jack and Sue Hall. Glenn's earthly life ended August 29th, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Elmwood Memorial Park, performed by Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, with Pastor Mike Hill presiding. Beloved father to Gwen Hall of Baird, Texas and Bailey Hall of Abilene, Texas, he is also survived by Heather (McDaniel) New of Dallas, Texas, Precious Hall, Terry & Tristin Agnew, Jackie & Don Campbell, Jody & Dean Goodman, Dru & Franklynn Hall, Chanc & Terry Hall all of Abilene, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn worked at Petroleum Solutions, Inc. for many years where his organizational skills were put to good use. He loved coaching Bailey in Little League and for several years he was an umpire. He was an accomplished artist and a very talented musician & songwriter. Glenn had a unique way of communicating. When he asked "if you had a minute" you needed to be prepared to sit and listen for hours as his knowledge on all subjects were vast. Glenn found it hard to ask for help but would always give it. Our hearts rejoice in knowing Glenn is strumming his guitar with God's band. Memorials may be made to Food Bank of West Central Texas, 5505 North First Street, Abilene, Texas, or the donor's charity of choice.
