Glenda F. Jack, 77, of Abilene, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at her home near Abilene.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the New Hope Church, 3122 S. Clack St. with Pastor Chuck Farina, officiating.
Glenda was born on May 30, 1942 in Chieftan, West Virginia to the late Basil and Mary (Leonard) Murphy. She and Carl W. Jack were married on August 3, 1961 in Fairmont, West Virginia. Glenda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bridge player, loved to bowl and enjoyed gardening. She was known to have a green thumb when it came to growing plants and flowers. Glenda would also make artificial arrangements for people to enjoy. She and Carl moved to Abilene in August of 2004.
Survivors include her husband Carl; one son, Jeffery Scott Jack and wife Jennifer of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Renee Michele Schulle and husband B.J. of Abilene and Carla Haywood and husband Russell of Wilmington, North Carolina; one brother, Donald Leonard of Worthington, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Jarrett Eugene Schulle, Bryan Joseph Schulle, Williams Griffin Jack and Ella Renee Haywood; and four great grandchildren, Allisyn Kae Schulle, Jaxon Jarrett Schulle, Elinor Renee Schulle and Oliver Marcus Schulle.
