Glen K Tarrant

Glen K. Tarrant, 83, died May 10, 2008 in Abilene. A visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 5:00-7:00 pm, at the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. The funeral services, with Reverends Derrell Patterson and Caro Russell officiating, will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 12:30 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1741 Sayles. The service will be followed by the burial at Elmwood Memorial Park. Glen was born January 31, 1925 to Claude H. and Ettie Mae "Suggs" Tarrant in Clyde, Texas. He was a 1942 Clyde High School graduate. He married Jean Seaton in Clyde on October 4, 1947. Glen was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a self-employed local building contractor. Glen was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife; two brothers, an infant and C.H. Tarrant. Glen is survived by one daughter, Tina Tarrant of Abilene; one niece, Charlotte Stevenson of Plano, TX; and one nephew, Lynn Tarrant of Frisco, TX.
