Ginger A. Billings, 64, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 in Abilene. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2849 Beltway South, with Pastor Garland Wallace officiating, assisted by Pastor O.W. Wilson. Burial will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday in the Palmer Cemetery in Palmer, Texas. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
April 14, 1943, Ginger was born in Ennis, Texas to Rev. Herman Calvin Littlejohn and Virginia Maxine (Holmes) Littlejohn. She graduated from Ennis High School in 1961. She worked as a Sales Representative and Manager for Prudential Insurance for 20 years. July 13, 1985, Ginger married William Joseph Billings in Lancaster, Texas. She moved to Abilene in 1972 and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Ginger was preceded in death by her father and an infant brother, Don Calvin Littlejohn. She is survived by her mother, Virginia Littlejohn, of Lancaster; her husband, Bill Billings, of Tye; two sons, Stephen Brewer and his wife Karen, of North Richland Hills, and Phillip Brewer, of Mesquite; three daughters, Rebecca Elizabeth Little, of Arlington, Ramona Billings, of Midland, and Kimberly Demeris and her husband, Tim of Abilene; one sister, Judy Matthews, of Waxahachie and 16 grandchildren.
