George Harold O'Neill

George Harold O'Neill George Harold O'Neill, 79, of Sweetwater, Texas, died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in Abilene, Texas. George was born in Lincoln County, Kansas on April 27, 1928 to William "Paul" O'Neill and Laura (Simonds) O'Neill. He graduated from Barnard High School, Barnard, Kansas in 1946; and from July 1952 to February 1954, he served his country in the United States Naval Reserves. On September 19, 1959, George married Nathalie Ann Weburg, who shared his life for over forty years. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2000. Professionally, George worked as an accountant for over thirty years, with fifteen of those years for W. R. Grace & Company, in Chicago, Illinois, then as Chief Accountant for the Saint Germain Foundation, in Schaumburg, Illinois. George was preceded in death by both parents; however, he is survived by one brother, Jarvis O'Neill of Barnard, Kansas and two sisters-in-law, Leola M. Weburg and Marjorie E. Dahl of Sweetwater, Texas. George was also survived by his nieces Mardeen Colleman, Kathy McDonald, Margie Cullins, Nancy Altman, Elaine Hagman, Penny Peters and Marie Branda; his nephews Dean Dahl, Mike Dahl, Jim Dahl, Jarvis O'Neill, and Joe O'Neill, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews; and many long time friends, including Sidney E. Lanier of Austin, Texas. There will be a Memorial Celebration Service in honor of George's life and his Service to the "I AM" Religious Activity of the Saint Germain Foundation of which he and Nathalie were longstanding members.
