Francisco Cantu

Francisco Cantu, 54, of Abilene, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, in Abilene.

Visiting hours for Francisco will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2024, with staff from Hill Resources there between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Buffalo Gap Cemetery, with Pastor David Cason officiating.

Francisco was born on July 24, 1970 in Sunnyside, Washington. He came to Texas, with his parents Francisco and Eulojia Cantu, when he was an infant.

Francisco was placed at Abilene State Supported Living Center when he was two years old. He continued to live there until he moved out into the community in spring of 2013. Frankie enjoyed his home and living in the community. He had a big smile, was a little mischievous and somewhat sneaky with his friends and direct support staff that worked with him, much to his delight. Frankie also enjoyed and attended day activity programs participating in community activities, outings and attending seasonal activities. Francisco was truly unique, a great guy and will be missed by his roommates, friends and a host of care givers over his lifetime who were blessed to have known and worked with him.
