Staff Sergeant Francisco “Tito” Amador-Montes
Francisco was born in Comayagua, Honduras on March 22, 1983. He is survived by his mother Ludyvina Montes Erazo, his father Francisco Amador and 5 siblings, Mery Alvarez, Gabriel Amador, Arlin Holder, Ludyvina Amador-Montes, and Kathyanne Best.
Francisco, Franco, Tito, Little Monkey, and Niño as he was known to his family, is most known for his caring and giving heart. He absolutely loved and adored his mother, like no other, and she loved him with equal passion. He had a heart as big as Honduras. He was known to spoil the women in his family, by giving them gifts and most importantly, his time. If you’ve ever been around Tito any amount of time, you quickly learned that he was as smart as Einstein, but as comical and mischief as “El Chavo del Ocho”. The greatest memories that he leaves behind were his times singing and dancing karaoke with his sisters, his hilarious stories, his most well know saying that he loved from Lana del Rey “I think I’ll miss you forever like the stars miss the sun in the morning skies…”, but more than anything is the strong bond he shared with his mother, Ludyvina.
Franco was always aware of his appearance, even to take out the garbage he had to look presentable. His hair had to look perfect.
When he was sent to Afghanistan, he only asked his sister Arlin to send him gelatin for his hair, nothing else.
His smile could light up a room in seconds and his laugh was contagious. Even though he is no longer with us physically, he will live in our hearts and minds forever. May he rest in peace!!!
