Forest Lee Hancock, 75, died January 10, 2006 at his home. Lee's body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road on Monday, January 16 from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. Lee was born in Iowa Park, Texas on February 15, 1930 to James E. and Mary Groves Hancock. He graduated from Valley View High School and attended North Texas University. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he owned and operated an excavating company in Wichita County during the late 50's and early 60's. He later worked in the oil industry and as a Deputy Sheriff and Bailiff in the district court in Taylor County until retirement. Survivors include: a brother and sister-in-law, Max and Joyce Hancock of Fort Worth; a sister, Mary Kathryn Millsap of Houston, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews
