Fletcher H. Hall III (Buddy) 62, of Abilene Texas, passed away on March 7, 2015 in a local hospital.
Fletcher H. Hall III was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Fletcher H. Hall Jr. and Emma Gene Hall on October 30, 1952. He went to high school at Capitan High School and attended Abilene Christian University. He married Paula Sue Hall (Goodman) on August 22, 1972 in Abilene TX. He worked in the oil field and at Nu Corp Pipe for multiple years. He also worked on the Hot Shot Crew with the Lincoln County Forest Service. He was also a successful high school athlete at Capitan High school in football, track, and basketball. He was well respected and loved by all.
Fletcher coached in the little league soccer community wide program in Abilene. He and his wife were very active in little league baseball as concessions, coaching, and scorekeeping. He used his gentle manner and sports insight to teach young men the fundamental skills necessary to be successful in both soccer and baseball.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Fletcher H. Hall III was preceded in death by his father Fletcher H. Hall Jr., and his mother Emma Gene Hall.
Fletcher H. Hall III is survived by his wife Paula Sue Hall; their son Fletcher H. Hall IV and his wife Laci Jo Hall of Lubbock; his sisters Pam Hall Allen and Zana Hall Segovia and her husband Don Segovia; his grandchildren Bryant Fletcher Hall and Brayden James Hall; as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
