Felicisima Rorrison

Felicisima Rorrison of Abilene, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the age of 89. “Fely” was born in Cavite City in the Philippines, the daughter of Ramon Cocohoba and Maria Sapinoso. She resided in Abilene for the last ten years after moving from San Diego, California. She is the cherished wife of Thomas Rorrison of Abilene, TX, and loving mother of Carina Marcy of Chula Vista, CA, Ann Willis of Abilene, TX, Suzan Lemyre of Benton Harbor, MI, Mary Duncan of Abilene, TX, and Raymond Rorrison of Huntersville, NC. She is also survived by her brother Ben and sisters Cora and Amelia. She is the proud grandmother to ten grandchildren: Tony, Willie, Melissa, Felicia, RJ, Carolann, Xander, Trevor, Jordan, and Cameron, as well as eight great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her four siblings: Cathy, Benito, Adolfo, and Cesar. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with loved ones. She will be remembered as a treasured caregiver to many children and homeless animals. Her tireless efforts to bring happiness to those around her will live on in the lives of all the people she encountered throughout her life. Services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
