Ernestine Marie Fenwick

Ernestine "Tennie" Fenwick, 72, of Abilene, died Friday, November 17, 2006 at a local hospital. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday in the funeral home chapel with Steve Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Tennie was born on February 13, 1934 in San Angelo, Texas. She lived in Abilene most of her life. Tennie was a homemaker, a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.R. Goen and Fannie Gaston Goen, one brother, Devon Goen, and one sister-in-law Voleen Hudson Goen. Tennie is survived by two sons, Albert Jonas of Abilene, and Paul Jonas and his wife Robbie of Abilene; one brother, Jimmy Goen of Henderson, Texas; five grandchildren, Misty Nelson, Heather Jonas, Michael Jonas, Paul Jonas, Jr. and Lisa Amy Jonas; five great-grandchildren, Matthew and Stephanie Nelson, Sonya and Brandi Jonas, and Iris Rena Jonas; two nieces, Cynthia Henson and Catherine Goen; and two nephews, Richard and Joe Goen. Michael Jonas, Paul Jonas, Jr., Jesse Perkins, Jonathan Perkins, Craig Loper and Ray Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
