Enola E. Boylan, daughter of Peter N. Steier and Mildred E. (Aurand) Steier was born November 3, 1923 at rural Jewell County, Kansas and passed away on August 27, 2016 at Abilene Regional Hospital, Abilene, Texas at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 24 days. Enola graduated from Superior High School, Superior, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Cheslie C. Boylan on October 12, 1944 and to this union three daughters were born, Lynn, Pamela, Kimberley. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Scandia, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mildred Steier, husband, Cheslie C. Boylan, son in law, Charles Stephen Stanford Sr. She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Rippe of Florence, Texas, Pamela (Mark) Pollock of Abilene, Texas, Kimberley Stanford of Hewitt, Texas, five grandchildren, Douglas (Karen) Rippe, Christopher Rippe, Charles Stanford, Amanda Stanford, Jennifer Pollock(Scott) Null, three great grandchildren, Samantha Rippe, Alexandra Rippe, Kierstin Null, one brother, Elvin Steier of Henderson, Nebraska, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Ten Thirty AM, Friday, September 2, 2016, United Methodist Church, Scandia, Kansas, conducted by, Pastor Kathy Aeillo. Interment will be in Prairie Rose Cemetery, rural Republic, Kansas. Memorials may be given to United Methodist Church, Scandia, KS., or the Scandia Museum. Friends may call on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 1 PM to 9 PM at Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, KS.
