Elizabeth Teresa Townsley

Elizabeth Teresa Townsley, 83, of Abilene passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Danny Bell will officiate. Burial will follow at the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery. Elizabeth was born April 11, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, New York to Martin Habinowski and Katherine (Kosazka). She has been a resident of Abilene since the 1950's. Elizabeth married Jack W. Townsley in Breckenridge, Texas on June 7, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and two sisters. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Joanna Elizabeth Townsley of Abilene; one sister Mary "Maime" Dankin of New York and her two babies, Pepper and Taffy.
