Edward Phillip Heck, 87, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in Abilene.
Edd went to be with his Lord, he put his wife and son first in his life, he supported our veterans, our wounded warriors, The Ben Richey Boys Ranch, the Police and Fireman in Abilene.
Edd was born on March 21, 1937, to George and Evelyn Heck, in Passaic, New Jersey. He attended Abilene High School. He married Loretta Faye Stephenson on April 11, 1964, in Abilene. He was the marketing director for Wymodak and had also worked for Brown and Williamson for 17 years. After retirement, Edward worked for Lin's and Larry's Big and Tall Man's Shop for many years.
Edd is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Gibson and his brother, George Heck, Jr.
Edd is survived by his wife, Loretta of Abilene; son, Mitchell Heck and wife Lisa of Red Oak, Texas; brother-in-law, Tom Stephenson and he will be missed by his two little Shih tzu's, Coco and Niko.
The family of Edd wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Alpha Omega Hospice and our first responders, they are angels of this city, and a special thank you to our neighbor Jim who was with us every step of the way.
