Eddy Morris Carr

Eddy Carr, 79, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. Born in Abilene, Texas on December 28, 1938, Eddy was the son of Edna (Ivy) and Morris Vernon Carr. He retired after a military career in the U.S. Navy as a communication supervisor. Eddy was an avid bowler and a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 6873 in Abilene. Survivors include his wife, Elva Jo Carr of Abilene; children, Sheldon Carr, David Carr, Suzanne Carr, Tracy Livingston and Tiffany Cox; grandchildren, Asley Otwell, Hunter, Alexandria, Dekota, Haley, Sarah, Heather, Tanner and Olivia; and great-grandchildren, Will, Eathan, Emira, Gracelynn and Leon. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
