Dwight Thomas Robertson IV, 57, of Abilene, Texas passed away on October 31, 2024 while working out of town in Gainesville, Texas.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home with Michael Burns of Operation Pay It Forward officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Dwight was born in Roseville, California to Dwight Thomas Robertson III and Cindy Susan Everest Robertson on February 23, 1967. He married Bonnie Johanne Degnan Robertson on July 4, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. He graduated with a Masters of Science/Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix (2011). He worked as a Manager for Metal Mart/McElroy Metals for a total of six years. He was a veteran of many foreign wars and served in the Army, and Air Force for twenty-seven years. Dwight was awarded multiple metals in honor of his dedicated military service. He was an Ambassador for the Operation Pay It Forward Veterans non-profit. Most of all, Dwight was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather and they were his most precious accomplishment. Anyone that knows Dwight, knows that his family came first above all else.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents Dwight T. Robertson III and Cindy Susan Everest Robertson. Grandparents Dwight T. Robertson II and Doris Jewel Robertson that raised him to be the honorable man that he became.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Bonnie Robertson, Children Dwight Thomas Robertson V, Mariah Lewis, Johanna Hoodie, Joseph Weidenborner, Johnathan Weidenborner, Gabriella Valdez, Alexia Valdez (& Nathan), Marissa Robertson, Isabella Valdez (& Dylan), Brandon Valdez, and Elijah Valdez. Grandchildren Kaydence, Krislynn, Dwight Thomas, Dakota, Dylan, Henry, Isabelle, Savannah, Axel, Silas, Malachi, and Ezra.
