Dr. Grant P. Janzen

Dr. Grant Janzen, 43, of Abilene, TX, died on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 9th from 5-7pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd.

Funeral services will be held in Abilene, TX, at Beltway Park Church South campus in the main sanctuary Friday, September 10th at 2pm.

Funeral services will also be held in Enid, OK, at Crosspoint Church Wednesday, September 15th at 10am.  Burial will follow in Enid, Oklahoma.

Dr. Grant Janzen was born in Enid, Oklahoma, to Dr. Dwayne and Mrs. Carol Janzen on October 31, 1977. He completed training as a retina surgeon and worked for 11 years at West Texas Retina Consultants.

Dr. Grant Janzen is survived by his wife, Dr. Jennifer Janzen; daughters, Brooke and Rachel; sons, Luke and Ben; his brother, Craig Janzen, and sister, Chelsey Wolever who is married to Kent Wolever, as well as by his parents Dr. Dwayne and Mrs. Carol Janzen.

Pallbearers in the Enid, OK, service will be Craig Janzen, Brett Fleming, Michael Fleming, Kent Wolever, Jeff Janzen, and Stephen Janzen.

Memorial donations may be given to the non-profit organization Abilene Fresh or to the Mennonite Foundation.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to friends, colleagues, coworkers, those who prolonged life with blood and plasma donations, and to the doctors and nurses who ministered healing.
