1942 — July 4, 2018

Douglas (Doug) Eugene Price passed away on July 4, 2018, at the age of 76. He was born on March 30, 1942 in Wheeler, Texas, to Kit and Alma Price. He graduated from Ardmore, Oklahoma High School in 1960.

After attending architectural school, Doug enlisted in the Navy and served for six years. He started his career in research and development with Texas Instruments and then General Dynamics. Doug created Sports Adventures of Dallas and taught scuba diving and conducted tours for divers in exotic locations. Many of his former students still recall their fun experiences in this underwater world. As a lifetime member of the NRA, Doug enjoyed sharing his expertise in hunting with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Doug and Constance Hays were married December 24, 1987. Doug joined Connie at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, Georgia where she was an instructor for US Customs. Doug joined the teaching staff of FLETC and taught basic skills to federal officers for three years. Following this assignment, Doug worked for US Customs in Miami and was an investigator for the Food and Drug Administration.

Stationed in numerous locations, Doug and Connie pursued their law enforcement careers in Washington, D. C., Georgia, and Florida.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Leon Price and James Price; and sister Betty Majors.

Doug is survived by wife, Constance Price; son Greg Price and daughter Lisa Price Fowler; sisters Dortha Primrose, Patricia Lindsey, and Louise Bostic; and numerous grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
