Dorothy Ellen Bush

Dorothy Ellen Bush, 76, of Abilene, went home to Jesus on Monday, February 18, 2013. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Msgr. Frederick Nawarskas officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 23, 1956 to Paul and Ellen Eckert. Dorothy loved and prayed for her family and friends. She was a devout Christian and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she enjoyed the Ladies Share Group and Lunch Bunch. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Marvin; children, Mark, Teresa, Paul and Kenneth; grandchildren, Luke, Joseph, Lauren, Shirley, Amanda, Amber and Zachariah; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Jackson, Finn, Adelaide and Rory; and sisters, Nancy Middleton and Jean Adams.
