Donna Greaves

Donna Baker Greaves, 79, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Donna Baker Greaves was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Jennie (Thompson) and Edward N. Baker on January 4, 1946. She graduated from Andrews High School in Andrews, Texas and received her bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University. Donna was a teacher with the Wylie Independent School District for many years.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Baker and Robert Baker.

Donna is survived by her three sons, Brent Greaves and wife Lori of Lubbock, Ryan Greaves and wife Leslie of Early, Chad Greaves and wife Stacy of San Angelo; brother, Ronnie Baker and wife Sandra of Lubbock; five grandchildren, Hunter Greaves and wife Kassidy, Aubrey Greaves, Sydney Greaves, Celie Dickey, and Evan Walters; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Greaves and Delilah Greaves; Donna is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Memorials may be made in Donna's honor to the West Texas Rehab Center's Hospice of San Angelo or to the Alzheimer's Association.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Brayden Park Assisted Living and West Texas Rehab Hospice of San Angelo who took wonderful care of Donna.
