Don Russell Allen was born in Blytheville, Arkansas, to James and Pamela Allen on June 8, 1988. He had attended Jim Ned and Clyde ISDs, and Cisco Jr College. After completing the West Central Texas Law Enforcement Academy, he accepted a police officer position with the Cisco Police Department for one year and five months, where he met Sarha Waters, the love of his life. June 2012 he began his Abilene Police Department career. He proposed on June 22nd, and they were to be wed on July 18, 2016.
He loved to be in God’s country hunting, fishing, and shooting guns. He was a great marksman and enjoyed all of God’s creations. He loved his family and friends with all of his heart. He loved playing with his beautiful niece, and everyone could see the aspiring father he wanted to become someday. He was his mother’s baby boy and was taken too soon from us all.
Don Russell Allen is survived by his loving parents James and Pamela of Clyde; two brothers, Benjamin and Russell, and sister, Dawn Marie Allen; and his grandparents Russell Allen and Patricia Allen, as well as his aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
