Dolores Mashburn

Dolores Mashburn, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. The daughter of Myrtle (Horton) and Ollie Boyd Ham, Dolores was born on October 22, 1925 in Bradshaw, Texas. She married William James Mashburn on March 8, 1946 in Abilene, where she was an inspector for T.S. Lankford for approximately 35 years. She was a Baptist and an avid Texas Ranger and Dallas Cowboy fan. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband on December 19, 2010. Survivors include her two sons Larry Mashburn and wife Jorgette, and Terry Mashburn and wife Pam, and grandson Cole Mashburn, all of Fort Phantom Lake. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, in Stith Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ritter officiating. Memorials may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1651 Pine Street, Abilene, TX 79601.
