Dollie McCoy Walsh, 89, of Abilene went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Funeral service will be held at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Elmwood Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Murray, Rev. Garland Wallace and Rev. O.W. Wilson. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 22, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Dollie was born October 10, 1918 in Jones County, Texas. She married Harold Walsh on February 4, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one son, James Walsh and wife Pat, of Abilene; one daughter, Margaret Murray and husband Ken, of McLoud, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dollie will be remembered for her acts of service to others including several years as a volunteer at Abilene Regional Hospital. She was a faithful member and supporter of First Church of the Nazarene, Abilene, for more than 60 years. Memorials may be made to the Donor's favorite charity.
