Diego Barajas Olvera, 20, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. He was born August 17, 1993 in Mexico City, Mexico.
Diego was a promising young man, who loved his family and will greatly be missed. He graduated from Cooper High School in May of 2012. He was employed by Firestone Complete Auto Care and was studying Auto mechanics at Cisco Junior College in Abilene, Texas.
As a professed Christian, the family is confident he is in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Survivors are his mother, Alicia Ceniceros and stepfather Ariel Ceniceros; daughter, Mia Barajas; sister, Fedra Barajas; mother of Diego’s daughter, Juanita Orozco of Abilene; grandmother, Rosa Elena Santinelli of Mexico City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, officiated by Albert Acosta.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the funeral home.
