David Allan Green, 61, of Abilene, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Abilene. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene with Pastor Scott Beard of Fountain Gate Fellowship officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. David Allan was born in Port Huron, Michigan to Allan Green and Phyllis Helm Green on December 10, 1953. He married Jo Kong Nim on November 22, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea. David Allan was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Operation Desert Storm, retiring after 21 years of service in the Air Force. He worked as a Water Treatment Plant operator for the City of Abilene for 15 years. David Allan was preceded in death by his father, Allan Green. David Allan is survived by his wife Jo Green; daughter Laura Eileen Green; son Daniel Allan Green; brother Tom Green; sisters Sally Green Henry and Cathy Green; and mother Phyllis Helm Green.
