Danny Walker

Danny M. Walker, 62, passed away on August 11, 2018 in Abilene, TX.

Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.  Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Jamie Pope of South Pointe Church, officiating. 

Danny was born in Coleman, TX to Howell and Violet Walker on January 21, 1956.  He attended school in Santa Anna, TX and graduated from Santa Anna High School.  He married his high school sweetheart Regina Cupps on August 16, 1975 in Santa Anna, TX.  Danny worked in the hotel/hospitality business over the course of his life. 

Danny was preceded in death by his parents Howell and Violet Walker, and two brothers, JH Walker and Jimmie Walker.

Danny is survived by his wife Regina Walker, daughter Tonya Thompson and her husband Cliff Thompson of Abilene, grandchildren Kiara Thompson and Stephen Thompson of Abilene, Andrew Thompson and Alicia Murphy of Abilene, Joseph Thompson of Sugarland, James Thompson of Abilene and Katelyn Thompson of Abilene; great-granddaughter Ashlynne Thompson of Abilene; brother Harold Walker and his wife Nancy Walker of Austin, brother Harry Walker and his wife Sandra Walker of Bangs, sister Donna Patrick of Kerrville, sister Ruth Ann Harding and her husband Harry Harding of Zephyr, numerous nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Michael Cupps of Brownwood and sister-in-law Janice Fellers and her husband Curtis Fellers of Santa Anna.
