Cindy Goldsmith was born in Breckenridge, Texas to Harriann and Carroll Goldsmith on September 26, 1958. She went to school in Abilene. She later completed training at the Flight Attendant Training Academy in Dallas Fort Worth in 1992, where she earned her wings and worked for American Airlines. She traveled all over the continental U.S. and became very well known throughout the Chicago O’Hare base as one of the nicest flight attendants around. Cindy had a wonderful sense of humor and a contagious laugh, and always brought a smile to those in her presence. She was a loyal friend and a wonderful, caring and dedicated mother. There was nothing that meant more to Cindy than her two daughters.
Cindy is survived by her daughters, Katelyn, 19 and Madelyn, 15; her brothers, Randy, Stanley and Gary; and her parents, Harriann and Carroll Goldsmith.
Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels, Plus, P.O. Box 903, Abilene, TX 79604.
The family of Cindy wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the medical team and nurses at Hendrick Medical Center for their excellent care. We are also very thankful for the many close friends who have been here to care for and support Cindy’s children and family.
