Craig Schuman

Craig Schuman, 42, died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at an Abilene medical center. Born in San Saba, Texas on July 31, 1968, he was the son of Donna (Mellon) and Roger "Butch" Schuman. For 32 years, Craig had been a resident of Abilene and graduated from Wylie High School. He was president of Schuman Equipment and attended River of Life Church in Abilene. Craig married Jonya Lea Anderson on July 2, 1995 in Fairfield, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Jonya Schuman, and three children, Bonnie Schuman, David Schuman and Carrie Grace Schuman, all of Tye, Texas; parents, Butch and Donna Schuman of Tye; and sister, Mandy Schuman McLean of Merkel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 18, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at River of Life Church, 539 Hwy 83-84, officiated by Mitch Clay. Interment will be in Lake Chapel Cemetery at Fairfield, Texas at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20. Pallbearers will be B. J. Schulle, Richard Weaks, Mark Greenwood, Frankie Heden, Edward Lenz and Mike Stamper.
