Clyde Verne Ward

Clyde (Chuck) Verne Ward, 74, passed away on June 8th, 2011. A memorial service with more of his life story and full military honors will be held Monday, August 8th, 2011, at 3:00 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Marjorie Lady Ward, his parents Walter and Verna Ward, brothers Rudy and Walter, and a sister Kathleen. Survivors include two sons, Forrest Ward and his wife Janie of Seattle, and Guy (G.T. or Cowboy) Ward and his wife Jackie of Abilene, as well as three grandchildren, Nicole of Austin and Nathan and Ryan of Seattle. The family would like to express our thanks to all of the nurses, aids, doctors, and employees of the VA Hospital in Big Spring (5th Floor) for taking care of our dad during the time he was there.
