Clyde Allen Sisco

Clyde Allen Sisco, 72 of Abilene, TX, passed away Friday September 15, 2023. Visitation will be Wednesday September 20, 2023, from 6-8 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday September 21, 2023, at 10:00 am The Hamil Family Funeral Home with Eric Seaton and Floyd Kaerwer officiating with burial at the Wingate Cemetery 1:00 pm.

Clyde was born in Ballinger, TX to Ella Mae Harville on October 10, 1950. He graduated from Abilene High School and worked as a toolpusher in the oil field for over 50 years. Clyde was a family man. With a quiet presence, he was someone you could count on to have a listening ear and a hug. He was our solid rock. Clyde was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of numerous Bass Clubs throughout his life. He held lake records for small mouth bass at Oak Creek, large mouth bass at Newcastle, and crappie at Kirby Lake.

Clyde was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sarah Marie Pennington, who raised him, his mother Ella Mae Harville, a son Cole Allen Sisco and a grandson Blake Sisco.

Clyde is survived by daughter Jodi Blosser and husband Burl, son Justin Sisco and wife Melissa, daughter Danielle Sisco, Brothers Doyle Sisco and Pam and Johnny Sisco and sister Rebecca Brown. His grandchildren Blane Sisco, Bailey Sisco, Saydee Blosser, Reagan Blosser, Dakota Bailey, Ethan Carlile Briawna Carlile and partner Joe Alaniz, and a great grandchild Jayden Alaniz.

Pallbearers will be Mark Foster, Corey Smith, Frank Mixon, Greg Collett, Norman Sanders, and JR Holland. Honorary pallbearers are Matt Sisco, Ty Martin, and Philip Partington.
