Clara Haynes Smith

Clara Haynes Smith died Sunday, February 10, 2008 in a local nursing facility. She was born August 29, 1920 in San Angelo, Texas. Previous to moving to Abilene in June 2002, she lived with her late husband, Olton Smith in Morenci, Arizona. A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m., February 12, 2008, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Lola Rampy Haynes, one sister, Inez Haynes and one brother, Edgar Dean Haynes. She is survived by two brothers, Robert Bruce Haynes of El Reno, Oklahoma, and J. Elton Haynes of Rogers, Arkansas, and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory Street, Abilene, Texas 79601, or to the donor's favorite charity.
