Christy Lynn Clark

Christy Lynn Clark, 37, of Cisco, passed away on January 31, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, February 2 at Wylie Baptist Church. There will be a graveside service held at 1:00pm on Saturday February 3, at Elliot-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery (5701 US HWY 277 South.) A Celebration Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday February 3, at Beltway Park South with Matt Weaver of Grace Benbrook and Phillip Thomas of Journey Church of Elgin, Texas officiating. Christy was born in Abilene, Texas to Elvin and Brenda Bowman on August 16, 1980. Christy graduated from Wylie High School and then attended Hardin Simmons University where she earned her BSN. She then graduated from the Patti Hanks School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Christy married Randy Clark on March 24, 2006 in Abilene, Texas. She worked as a nurse for Hendrick Medical Center for 18 years. She was actively involved in her church, FBC Eastland. Christy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Welton and Mary Bowman, and her mother, Brenda Bowman. Christy is survived by her husband, Randy Clark, children Brant (8) and Brenlyn (5), parents Elvin Bowman and wife Patti Bowman of Abilene, Texas, sister Molly Thomas and husband Phillip Thomas and their children Kaylee (15), Reese (11), and Becca (8), of Elgin, Texas, and step-brother Matt Smith of Abilene, Texas and step-sister Lacy Reeder-Zabloudil of Abilene, Texas, and granny Freida Littlefield of Abilene, Texas. Pallbearers will be Hunter Beal, Lee Evans, Jathan Floren, Ryan Haggard, Billy Bob Orsagh, Howard Taylor, and Neal Weaver. Special thank you to all the family, friends, and Hendrick Hospice who have come alongside us during this difficult season. We have experienced a sense of community throughout these last few years that has constantly pointed us to the grace of Jesus. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to FBC Eastland (405 S.
