Chris Solis

Chris Solis, 48, born September 7, 1975, in Abilene, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior, December 16, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife Tami, and their children David and Katie, his parents Frank and Lupe Solis, brother Jamie and sister-in-law Julie Solis, Aunts and Uncles, Susana and Raymond Santibanez, Sandy Best, Johnny and Sylvia Molina, Fred Solis, Amado and Anna Elizondo, Jill Espinoza, Ramon Sepulveda, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him and were blessed by his life. Chris graduated from Cooper High school in 1994.

Chris met his sweetheart Tami and married her September 15, 2001. He worked as a groundskeeper at Abilene State Supported Living Center for over 15 years. They were like family to him. He maintained the yard at New Hope Church for years and was involved in the church. Chris loved Jesus and loved people. He was the hands and feet of Jesus. Chris brought joy to everyone he was around; he was compassionate and loving. He had a quirky sense of humor that always made people laugh.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27th from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at New Hope Church. The funeral will be held Thursday, December 28th, at 2:00p.m.  Services will be held at New Hope Church 3122 S. Clack St. Abilene, Texas.
