Cheryl Kay Tyler Richardson, 60, of Abilene, Texas, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Fort Worth. Cheryl was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on August 14, 1954. She worked as a graphic designer for Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 30 years. Cheryl is survived by her son, Justin Julin of Keller, Texas; two daughters, Jaime Hubbard and husband Michael of Abilene, and Jodie Davidson and husband Scott of Keller; her mother and father, Carol and Dennis Culpepper; one sister, Terry Pittman and husband Stan of Frisco, Texas; and five grandchildren, Tallan Hubbard (US Navy), Garrett Hubbard, Tyler Hays, Nathan Julin and Lane Hampton. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Scott Davidson, Michael Hubbard, Tyler Hays, Kasey Noles, Garrett Hubbard, Tallan Hubbard, Wayne Anthony and Matthew Noles. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 3001 North Big Spring St., Suite 104, Midland, TX 79705.
