Cheryl Lynn Parmelly

Cheryl Lynn Parmelly, 54, of Abilene, TX passed away on November 21, 2022 in Abilene, TX. 

A private graveside service will be held at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. 

A memorial service will be held at the Abilene State Supported Living Center at a later date. 

Cheryl was born in Abilene, TX to Carrol and Shirley Dodd Parmelly on September 6, 1968. She was born with Down Syndrome and spent most of her life at the Abilene State Supported Living Center where she was loved by many. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents. Cheryl is survived by her sister, Annette Parmelly of Tye, TX and niece Kelsey Templeton and husband Kolby of Stamford, TX and their children Kleasy and Kayson. She is also survived by her Aunt Ella Haynes and several cousins. 

Memorials may be given to the Abilene Volunteer Services Council c/o Abilene State Supported Living Center or their favorite charity. 

The family wishes to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff of the Abilene State Supported Living Center for their many years of dedicated service to Cheryl and to Hendrick Hospice.
