Cecil Allison Webb

Cecil Webb, 86, of Abilene, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Dallas, TX. Cecil Allison Webb was born April 1, 1935 in Estill Springs, TN to Arthur Daniel Webb Sr. and Ola Pauline McWhirter Webb. He was one of nine siblings, five brothers and three sisters. Cecil lived in Potosi, TX with his wife of almost 39 years, Gwen Simmons Webb. He raised seven children, Brenda Roach (Russell) of Sherman, TX, Susan Webb (Kevin Creed) of Crosby, TX, Paula Webb of Abilene, TX, Dana Webb (Vicki) of Midlothian, TX, Melaney Weaver (Jamey) of Voca, TX, Mark Turner (Sabrina) from Kemp, TX, Brook Webb (Amanda) of Potosi, TX. Cecil had 25 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Cecil worked in the oil industry for a majority of his life and was currently in business with one of his sons. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, November 30, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, TX 79606. Services will be December 1, 2021 at 1 PM at Potosi Baptist Church, 2826 Potosi Rd., Abilene, TX 79602. Graveside will follow at Potosi Cemetery.
