Catherine Frances Krueger

Cathy F. Krueger, 54, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at her residence in Abilene, Texas. Born in Santa Marie, California on February 17, 1964, Cathy was the daughter of Ruth Angeline (Stephens) Montgomery and Jewell Montgomery. She was reared in southern California and moved to Oklahoma City during her junior year and graduated from Moore High School she later attended DeMarge College and received her certificate for Medical Assistant. She was a homemaker, having married Jason Arnold Krueger on May 22nd ,1982 in Oklahoma City. She moved to Abilene from Tennessee five years ago. Cathy is survived by her husband, Jason Krueger of Abilene; two daughters, Kimberly (Krueger) Mathis and Miranda Krueger both of Abilene; brothers, Mel Thomas of Oregon, and Jim Thomas and wife Rosella of Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Jean Funkhouser of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Suzanne Krueger of Corpus Christi, TX; and brother-in-law, Bryan Altstatt of Edmond, OK. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 3325 N. 12th Street in Abilene with Paul McDonough officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Visitation will be held from 12:30PM to 2:00PM prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.
